Then I move them into a different world/neighbourhood (sometimes, but usually not, back in with their parents), turn aging back on, and have them finish the last two semesters in two weeks by doing the maximum number of classes.Īnd if you don't want to commit that much time to your students, I'm pretty sure there are mods that will speed things up.ĮTA - if you're unsure about Discover University, or any other packs for that matter, wait for a sale. I'll turn aging off, move the student sims to campus housing, and only enroll them in 2 courses each semester so they have time to join organizations, throw parties, and generally enjoy being college students. I usually treat the first two semesters at uni as a bit of a break from normal gameplay. Mainly the fact that it takes Sims their entire young-adult stage to graduate (if you play on normal lifespan and do the maximum number of courses each sememster) meaning they'll be dead when their kids are still in high school, and the fact that they'll fail all their courses if you switch to another household mid-semester. I like it, but there are some aspects that are a bit annoying.
